Doula Services - Serving Long Beach, Orange County and Los Angeles, CA
When you hire me as your birth doula at Moondance Childbirth Services, I will include the following for each mother, parent or family who use my doula services:
- Free initial birth doula interview
- 1-2 prenatal visits
- 24 hour phone support availablility from the time of hire
- Assistance in writing birth plans and birth preferences
- On call for birth from 2 weeks before "due date" - I will join you at home or at the hospital/birthing place
- Caring and continuous doula support
- Helping to create and maintain a peaceful, supportive birth environment
- Utilizing labor techniques including massage, birth ball, relaxation and imagery
- Photography during labor and birth, if desired
- Attendance until placenta delivered and post partum assistance with latch and initiating breast feeding
- Optional postpartum follow up visit for reflection on your birth and referrals if necessary
I provide birth doula services to all of Orange Co and some cities in Los Angeles Co. If your city is not listed here, please still contact me, I may be able to serve as your doula or help find someone to assist you!

In addition to birth doula services my other offerings include:
- private childbirth education classes (can be added on to doula service package OR utilized without being your contracted birth doula)
- lactation/breastfeeding/chestfeeding education/support
- post partum doula services (a separate contract)
- infant massage instruction (when baby is 6 weeks of age)
